Pass the Purse

In a previous monthly calendar, I mentioned a language game entitled, "Pass the Purse."  It has taken longer than I thought to find time to introduce this fun game to my students.  We will be playing the game on Wednesday, and then I encourage you to play it with your child at home.  Place a variety of items in a "purse".  Sing the song and pass the purse between the players.  When the song ends, the person left holding the purse selects an item.   The child needs to tell the beginning sound of the item (JK) or attempt to write the name of the item.
